Welcome to the new blog for Education for Life! ELF is a Thai foundation that began in 1997 to help educate girls in Phayao Province and keep them from being sold into prostitution. Since then, ELF has given over 1,000 scholarships to girls (and some boys) in desperate need of support. While the children attend public school, the scholarships pay for the necessary expenses (shoes, bags, food) and ELF guardianship helps protect girls from being sold into prostitution.On our blog you will find profiles of our scholarship recipients, stories from life in Phayao and hopefully learn more about our organization.
