Japanese Rotary Visit

This week 6 members of the Rotary in Japan and 3 Rotarians from Bangkok came to visit the water project two years after it was funded and implemented. They got to enjoy seeing Phayao, meeting some students, tasting water fresh from the filters and they got to see perfermances by some very talented students. Thanks so much for your support and for your visit, Rotarians. Domo Arigato!

Water from the filter. So clear!

Pafaksamakee Community School

When we were at the Pafaksamakee Community School, a Phayao secondary school, for the water project last month, many of the students were given cameras by the teachers to capture their own images from the ceremony. I thought I would share some of the great pictures and moments the kids caught with their cameras.

Water ceremony

After the scholarship ceremony, we went to two schools to cut the ribbon and open clean water projects at each school. The Rotarians were kind enough to bring footballs (soccer balls) and much needed pens for the students too.
